How To Fix The Mortgage Mess

Mortgage news about housing and mortgage problems in the United States is on TV every morning and evening. What can we as individuals do to help alleviate it?

We can get together with friends and join other groups to write and call our Congressional leaders. With this being an election year they might be more willing to consider positive suggestions.

Additional hearings are not the answer, but taking some positive steps now to help people afford their mortgage payment or obtain a mortgage is what is needed. Become involved in the solution.

Controversial mortgage news to say the least! Should the US government bail out home owners who are facing mortgage foreclosure because they have a subprime mortgage?

What do you think the tax consequences would be?

Food for thought! Who is to blame...home owners, bankers, mortgage brokers, Congress, George Bush or Ben Bernanke and the Federal Reserve Board?
