I Miss Jacksonville.

I lived in Jacksonville, Florida from the time I was in 2nd grade until my husband and I moved to Italy in 2003. I loved it there and hope to be able to return there again soon. I would love to live in Jacksonville again but for now I have to settle for infrequent vacations.

We lived out at the Jacksonville beaches. I just love the beach atmosphere. There is so much to do out there. Of course there are the beautiful beaches. Other things the beaches offer are shopping, lots of festivals on the beach in the warmer months and some great restaurants.

But we spent a lot of time outside of the beaches too. Jacksonville has so much to offer for people of all interests. There are a lot of cultural places to visit, Many museums and theatres and such. There is Jaguar Football and the Jacksonville Suns for those who are into sports. There are always tons of concerts and musical events for people into the music scene.

Jacksonville is also very family friendly. Families have many opportunities to get out and about and enjoy time together. A few things for families to do are the zoo, Adventure Landing, The Children's Museum and tons of parks and other fun activities. All you have to do is look.

You never run out of things to do there and that is something that I look for in a place to live. I love to live in areas that have a variety of things to offer and Jacksonville, Florida definitely does.
