Loving Chicago Seasons

Finally, we have seasons! We moved to Chicago this summer from Florida. When we chose this area all we heard was how crazy we were. Why would we want to leave sunny Florida behind?
We desperately wanted to get out of the humidity, and the ONE season a year. Its just not right to have 80 degrees or more in December.

Our first full day here, we fell head over heels in love. The weather is perfect, with almost no humidity to speak of. The grass is green, there are trees and the leaves fall, well, in Fall!

There are so many cool things to do in Chicago. We live a little bit in the suburbs and its so easy to hop on the Metra, and head into the downtown area. The Navy Pier is fun to walk around, and the Children's Museum is one of the best I have ever visited.

I think one of the things I am most looking forward to though is the snow. I haven't ever lived anywhere before where I could expect snow every year. My kids are so excited for a white Christmas. Snowball fights, building snow forts, and making snow angels are on the top of their lists of what to do during the first snow fall.
And living where there is a MACY'S Parade! Chicago is AWESOME!!
